Reading Response 12: Drawing on the assigned reading by Collins, what is significant about the fact that, while the book of Daniel is among the prophets in the Christian Old Testament, in the older Jewish formulation of the Bible, Daniel is not included among the prophets?  Describe in your own words what Daniel is like.  Also focus on Daniel 2.  How does Daniel acquire knowledge of the king’s dream and its interpretation, and what is significant about this mode of acquiring knowledge?
